Indcar to introduce new brand and image

Indcar has unveiled what it says is a new brand image and logo as part of the coachbuilder’s ongoing transition and evolution.

Such a step follows the recent integration of the Car-bus.net business into Indcar. Car-bus is already active in the UK via the coachbuilt Grand Tourer body mounted on a Mercedes-Benz Sprinter and sold here by EVM, but information on whether the Indcar strategic plan will see the Spanish manufacturer return here as a standalone marque is awaited.

The new brand will gain a formal launch at Busworld Brussels in early October. It represents what the business says “is a revamped version of the iconic Indcar brand logo for a new chapter in its history” and reflects a “profound strategic transformation aligned with the company’s ongoing expansion plan.”

Rollout of the new brand will be gradual, starting with communications media before moving to other areas. It will be deployed successively for each vehicle in the Indcar range.

Speaking about the shift, CEO Gael Queralt says: “The growth of Indcar and the challenges of the market drive us forward and [to] keep transforming ourselves. Our new logo symbolises this evolution to become the corporate identity that inspires change and guides the company into the future.

“This new image strives to convey the essence of Indcar and our great passion for minibus, creating premium bodies that combine prestige and recognition, designed with the highest quality.

“All this with the clear objective of maintaining and strengthening our leadership in the European minibus market. The new logo is a symbol for this mission.”
