Driver’s panic button introduced by GreenRoad

The ‘panic button’ works alongside GreenRoad’s telematics system

Driver performance monitor GreenRoad has introduced a ‘panic button’ for installation in coaches and buses.

It allows drivers to send alerts to supervisors when they are in distress. The button can be installed in an easy-to-access but inconspicuous location, and all that is needed it to press it to send an alert.

GreenRoad’s system reports the driver’s ID, the vehicle ID and location and a time stamp.

It also gives the driver a visual and an audible confirmation that the alert has been registered.
