Harris Bus and Coach has added the Higer V-12 to the V-Series coaches that it is currently showing to operators, with one of those joining the shorter V-10 on a second edition of its Bus and Coach Ireland Roadshow that looks to repeat the strong orders generated by an earlier tour.
The V-10 has already been seen in the UK via an operator and customer event in November 2025. The V-12 will be joined by the tri-axle V-14 in the dealership’s opening coach line-up here, with the three products using Cummins power. Each model name refers to nominal length of the vehicle in question.
The supplier recently announced that its coach and bus operations in the UK will be centred on Worksop as part of what is planned to be a large effort to establish Higer products here, including V-Series coaches and bus models.
A second roadshow in Ireland follows the opening event in January where the V-10 and V-12 were shown. Harris says that during the first tour, “multiple orders” were placed by customers there and that numerous further leads were gained.
“The feedback from visitors and operators was extremely positive and there was plenty of enthusiasm around the V-10 and V-12 coaches,” the dealership says. “Many attendees said they were grateful for the opportunity to experience the new models in real life.”
This month’s event will visit the Rochestown Park Hotel in Cork on 18 February, Kilbeggan Distillery in Kilbeggan on 20 February, the Brehon Hotel in Killarney on 17 February, and Whitford House Hotel in Wexford on 19 February.
Harris Bus and Coach Ireland Managing Director Willie Daniels says the dealership was pleased with the results of the first roadshow there and notes how it expects a similar response in February.
“This year is an important one for as at Harris Bus and Coach and we believe that, with these coaches, we have two very strong products that will be ideally suited to the needs of our customers in terms of performance, efficiency, and styling.”
