More than 100 stakeholders are set to gather at the Coach Tourism Association (CTA) Spring Networking in Cardiff on 9-11 May.
The event, sponsored by Visit Wales and supported by Southern Wales Tourism, has seen over 80 CTA members sign up.
Aimed at coach tour operators, wholesalers, and suppliers to the coach tourism sector, the occasion based at the Majestic Hotel Cardiff will feature opportunities to network, familiarisation tours and the Supplier Showcase.
It will also include CTA’s annual general meeting, which is open to all members.
The Supplier Showcase will take place on the morning of Monday 11 May, following a networking dinner and drinks reception at the hotel the previous evening.
“Attending CTA events gives all members a voice, and in addition to promoting business development, the discussions help to identify solutions to shared challenges,” says CTA Chair Robert Shaw.
“While the forecast for the coach tourism sector this year is very positive, there are challenges to address, and sharing opinions across our membership is a proven way of improving the outcome for coach operators, tour wholesalers, and suppliers to the sector.”
Early arrivals on 9 May will be able to experience tours to the likes of Tredegar House, Caerphilly Castle, National Museum Cardiff and Museum of Cardiff.
Sunday will offer chances to visit Cardiff Castle, the Royal Mint Experience, and Hensol Castle.
Mr Shaw adds: “Cardiff and the surrounding area holds many attractions for coach groups, so we’re delighted to host CTA Spring Networking 2026 in this historic city.
“The exciting fam trip programme, which includes new experiences we haven’t visited before, is set to expand new product for coach tour operators and wholesalers, while the networking opportunities over the weekend will enhance business development across our membership.”
