Convey Technology, which offers what it says is “a one of a kind compliance management system”, has purchased GB Tachopak, which is a transport supplies and services business.
The newly acquired business will be led by Karen Crispe, Convey’s Commercial Director and a longstanding commentator on tachograph legislation and industry software solutions.
Convey’s suite of software solutions enables fleets to gather, analyse and interpret business-critical data including driver performance, drivers’ hours and driving licence profiles. The purchase of GB Tachopak will see Convey offer additional compliance products and services.
Says Convey Technology MD Steve Fisher: “With Karen’s extensive experience as former Managing Director of Tachodisc and as Commercial Director of both the Freight Transport Association and the Road Haulage Association, she is the natural choice to lead the GB Tachopak business.
“The GB Tachopak team is highly experienced within its field. We are delighted that as part of the deal all existing personnel have been retained.
“This acquisition forms part of our ongoing growth strategy, which will see us develop and expand out service offering over the coming months and beyond.”
