Brighton and Hove buses and Metrobus have put together special videos thanking NHS and Keyworkers, as well as paying tribute to Dame Vera Lynn, with a singalong of the classic wartime anthem We’ll Meet Again.

The minute-long videos show members of staff singing the first verse of the morale-boosting ballad before applauding and thanking NHS staff and key workers who continue to risk their lives in the fight against coronavirus COVID-19.

The videos were made in tribute to the NHS’ 72nd birthday, which it celebrated on 5 July, as well as to forces sweetheart Dame Vera, who passed away in June at her home in East Sussex, aged 103.

The Brighton and Hove recording was made at the company’s Lewes Road depot, while the Metrobus recording took place at the company’s Crawley depot.
