Somerset Passenger Solutions (SPS) has appointed Simon Mohammad to the role of Operations Director.
Mr Mohammad joins SPS from First Hampshire, Dorset and Berkshire, where he was Head of Operations. He brings over 20 years of passenger transport experience from the private and municipal sectors.
The joint venture, which provides and manages passenger transport services at the Hinkley Point C project, says that Mr Mohammad joins “at an important and exciting time” for the business. “Simon will lend his experience and skill to support SPS and our teams as we move through our COVID-19 and social distance exit plans,” it adds.
Says Mr Mohammad: “I am delighted to be joining the team here at SPS. It is a fantastic opportunity to be part of a truly progressive and forward-thinking company and to contribute to the building of Hinkley Point C, the largest construction project in Europe.
