Stagecoach Merseyside and South Lancashire has invested a further £6.8m into its fleet with a repeat delivery of Enviro400 MMCs, supplied by Alexander Dennis (01909 551166).
They have been rolled out on services 20 and 21 between Liverpool and Kirkby and have leather seats, free wi-fi and USB charging points along with CCTV. They also have engine stop-start technology.
Says MD Rob Jones: “These spacious double-deckers prioritise passenger comfort.
“Ensuring we regularly update and improve our fleet means that we’re able to operate a more sustainable, efficient and cost-effective service.”
