Why did RWT purchase Maxima UK Ltd?

In the early days RWT used a mixed arrangement of column lifts which were cable operated.

It was a trip hazard with the cables and using adaptor plates for varying sizes.

RWT was asked to try a set of wireless hydraulic column lifts – Maxima.

With reluctance RWT agreed to try a set and what a revelation. They were so versatile with adjustable carriage they could be used from a 15” wheel through to a 22.5” wheel without using adaptors.

They were self-levelling and there were safety features and height indicators never experienced before.

The configuration can be either four columns, six columns or even eight.  You could purchase a set of four and your needs may change so you may need to increase the set to six columns.

It was decided that it would operate its own transport for delivery of the lifts thus keeping transport costs to a minimum and deliveries can be made without relying on contracted transport.
