Leicester cameras trap 2,000 in fortnight

Cameras installed to prevent drivers from ignoring bus-only restrictions on Thurcaston Road in Leicester have caught more than 2,000 people in a fortnight.
Although it has been for use by buses and taxis only, Leicester City Council recently relaunched enforcement of the restriction. All 2,000 transgressors have been issued with a warning; the fine would be up to £60.
