Jan Kohlmeier (pictured) has been appointed incoming Managing Director of MAN Truck and Bus UK.
He will take up the post on 1 August, moving from his current position as Managing Director of MAN Truck and Bus in the Czech Republic and Slovakia. Mr Kohlmeier has been with MAN since 2004 and has also held various roles in sales and customer service in Eastern Europe and Asia Pacific.
Mr Kohlmeier will succeed Stefan Thyssen in the UK market, who is to return to Munich and take up what MAN Truck and Bus SE Senior Vice President – Head of Area Europe Roman Sitte says is “a new key role.”
Mr Sitte adds: “We are delighted to have appointed Jan to head the MAN Truck and Bus team in the UK, a market area of utmost importance to the MAN brand. Jan’s broad experience within MAN comprehensively demonstrates his deep understanding of the commercial vehicle market and we wish him well in the future.
