OMC Global of Oxfordshire has taken delivery of two Mercedes-Benz Sprinters with 14-seat accessible EVM Trend conversions.
Each minicoach has a BraunAbility E-Series split platform lift that is floor-mounted at the rear doors, along with an NMI composite floor system and cantrail tracking. All the Sege seats are on quick-release legs, and they have three-point all-age belts along with aisle-side folding armrests.
The seats are finished in Epengle wool moquette with synthetic leather headrest inserts. Each position reclines.
OMC Global has chosen to retain the OEM passenger door. Behind it sits EVM’s moulded three-stage step with LED strip lights. In-dash and saloon air-conditioning units are fitted to both vehicles. Saloon speakers are integrated into passenger service units and a reverse camera with a 7in touch-screen display is part of the specification. Tarabus non-slip flooring has been installed.
The base Sprinter vehicles beneath the EVM Trend conversions for OMC Global are 414CDi models. They have the four-cylinder OM 651 engine developing 140bhp. It drives through the 7G-Tronic seven-speed automatic gearbox. Each minicoach has been finished in Mercedes-Benz Metallic Black.
