D&G Bus has announced its “new and improved” Service 38 route, which takes effect from 1 September 2019.

The Crewe-Macclesfield route travels via Sandbach and Congleton and sees the introduction of an hourly service Monday to Saturday.

When combined with the existing Sunday timetable, this results in an hourly service seven days a week.

Operations Director at D&G Bus Kevin Crawford says: “This is a great opportunity for D&G Bus to build on its current service levels, which will benefit the local community. D&G Bus has been operating in and around the Crewe area for some time and hopefully this will continue.

“We have invested heavily to improve this service for our existing customers and hopefully more new customers. We have purchased the vehicles, which will be branded, as well as leaflet drops throughout the area.

“Our aim is to provide a reliable and frequent service which customers can rely on and utilise.”
