Leisuretime by Toureasy has announced its expansion into South West England through partnerships with Turners Coachways of Bristol and Vickery’s Coaches of Martock.
The move marks a step for the carbon-neutral coach holiday provider following relaunch in South Wales during April 2022.
Since re-establishing the Leisuretime brand as Leisuretime by Toureasy with partner operators Cresta Coaches and Davey Travel in Wales, Toureasy says over 30,000 customers have booked with it. The company uses partner operators with modern fleets of Euro V and Euro VI coaches, with the majority being Euro VI. Well-to-wheel carbon impact is measured and offset through its partner, Carbon Footprint.
Founder Sean Taggart (pictured) says strong partnerships have been crucial to the brand’s successful relaunch.
“We have always had an eye for additional departure regions but one of the lessons we learned from the initial launch of Toureasy is that we needed local knowledge and partnerships with strong coach operators to make expansion work,” he explains. “They give vital advice on routes and pick up points, and we can initially leverage their brand recognition until we become established.
“South West England has always been an obvious region for us to expand into and I have been speaking to both Turners and Vickery’s since the beginning of the year about how we might work together to create opportunity for us and them.
“All our coach operator partnerships are based on strong personal relationships at the top, and I am honoured to have Turners and Vickery’s as our new partners. We have no doubt as to their commitment and excitement for what the partnership could bring.”
