Vogelsang is celebrating 20 years of manufacturing pump and machinery for the coach industry in the UK.
Owned by German-based Vogelsang GmbH, the UK business was established in 2003 and has since grown an 18-strong team from its headquarters in Crewe.
Vogelsang provides hygienic and fast wastewater management systems for coaches via its RoadPump.
The parent company, which was founded in 1929, has a global annual turnover of more than €170 million.
UK Managing Director Jonathan Gutteridge says: “We are pleased to have reached this milestone in Vogelsang’s story. When it was founded two decades ago, we had a tiny customer-base and were almost unheard of as a pump brand. Now we have a turnover of more than £10 million and have developed a reputation for making high-quality machinery for the transport sectors.”
The business says it is looking to grow further in the next few years and branch out into other sector with new pump and machinery designs.
“We are not a company that likes to sit still,” Mr Gutteridge adds. “We are heavily invested in the industries in which we work and support. Road transport, particularly coach, is a hugely important area for us and we continue to work closely with our customers to ensure our pumps and machines produce the best results possible.”
