New Yutong TC9 represents TJ’s Travel’s first purchase of a larger coach

TJ’s Travel of West Yorkshire has received a Yutong TC9, supplied by Pelican Bus and Coach (01924 227722).

“We primarily run Mercedes-Benz-based vehicles but we decided to give Yutong a try after hearing rave reviews about the TC9,” says Managing Director Jamie Ndlovu.

“It’s our first purchase of a bigger coach and so it was a big decision, and we did a lot of homework beforehand. I knew the back-up would be second-to-none, and that sold it to us.”

Jamie adds that having Pelican’s Castleford base nearby is a further positive. “Hopefully, this will lead to a long working relationship in the future.”

The TC9 is powered by a Cummins ISB6.7 engine coupled to a ZF EcoLife automatic gearbox.
