New Plaxton Panther-bodied Volvo B8R for Abbey Coaches has 57 seats

Thornliebank, Glasgow-based Abbey Coaches has introduced a Volvo B8R with Panther bodywork, supplied by Plaxton (01909 551166).

It is a 12.8m, 57-seater that comes complete with centre demountable toilet, fridge, an extensive entertainment system, CCTV, real time tracking and telematics.

“We have a long and successful relationship with Plaxton, having operated its coaches for the best part of 20 years. The Panther is ideal for our type of business. It can tackle a vast array of jobs and it has a reliability record that is second to none,” says Director Graeme Walker.

“Combine that with a quality, luxury finish and it ticks all the right boxes.”

The new Panther will be used on work from corporate hires to school outings.
