Angela Coaches of Bursledon, near Southampton, has added a high-specification Irizar i8 integral to its fleet as part of the operator’s 70th anniversary celebrations. The vehicle was supplied by Irizar UK.
48 seats are fitted to the newcomer, with lateral displacement, magazine nets, drop-down tables, multi-position footrests, and USB charging points present. Leather armrests and embroidered headrests have also been added.
At the rear is a floor-level toilet, and a servery area with Corian work surfaces, a Nespresso coffee machine, a double refrigerator, and a sink. Further passenger comfort is via the provision of a Bosch Smart Series audio-visual system with twin monitors.
The driver and courier each benefit from leather seats, and the steering wheel is trimmed in the same material. Exterior cantrail lighting is also fitted.
Angela Coaches has opted for Irizar’s rear-view camera system in lieu of traditional mirrors. It made its debut on the i8 during 2022. The coach is finished in metallic paint with factory-applied vinyls to commemorate the platinum anniversary. A cherished registration mark also recognises the milestone year.

Power is from the DAF MX-13 engine developing 483bhp driving through a 12-speed ZF Traxon automated manual gearbox.
