Arriva Luton has invested £2.3m in new buses for the town in the form of 14 Enviro200 MMCs, supplied by Alexander Dennis (01909 551166).
They have engine stop-start technology and they will be used on a route between Marsh Farm, Stopsley and the town centre. Passengers benefit from synthetic leather seating, free wi-fi and USB chargers.
“These buses will replace 14 of our older Euro 4 vehicles and we have that they will encourage more people than ever to travel by bus,” says Area Managing Director South Maq Alibhai.
