Ashcroft Travel’s Scania K 360 IB Irizar i-Skool is a tri-axle, 80-seater coach

Widnes-based Ashcroft Travel has taken delivery of a tri-axle K 360 IB with 80-seat Irizar i-Skool bodywork, supplied by Scania Great Britain (01909 500822).

It was purchased after MD Ian Nolan viewed a similar example delivered to fellow Cheshire operator Carvers Coaches of Ellesmere Port in 2017.

“We knew instantly that this was the vehicle for us, as a large percentage of our work is transporting children,” he says.

“This new coach can carry two classes along with their teachers, so it makes it a very cost-effective vehicle compared to hiring two coaches.

“We have been very happy with the service given by Scania, particularly our Account Manager Lee Wale.” The coach comes with a two-year repair and maintenance contract.
