Ashcrofts Mini Travel has taken delivery of a Van Hool EX16H coach. The 13.4m tri-axle has 53 Kiel 1020 seats with lap belts and USB charging points along with a centre sunken toilet.

Also part of the package is a boiler, a fridge, an entertainment system including a radio, DVD and CD player with twin monitors, a camera monitoring system in place of conventional mirrors, and silver destination displays.

Power comes from a DAF MX-13 engine coupled to an Allison six-speed automatic gearbox. The coach represents further fleet investment by the Golborne operator and is finished in a grey livery with highly polished alloy wheels and a cherished registration mark.

Ashcrofts Mini Travel Director Chris Ashcroft (pictured, right) took delivery of the new arrival from VDL Van Hool Sales Representative Robert White (pictured, left).
