Sheffield operator Ashley Travel has taken delivery of an i6 integral, supplied by Irizar UK (01909 500514).
The 12.9m coach seats 57 and it comes with Irizar UK’s standard specification, which includes a toilet, two-screen DVD system, reversing camera, drop-down tables and carpet. It also has a 240v inverter and a CCTV system.
A ZF EcoLife automatic gearbox is fitted, coupled to DAF’s MX-11 engine.
It’s not the only addition that the operator is expecting this year. Director Andy Powell’s daughter Ashley – a former Miss Great Britain – is in training for her Category D driving license and is hoping to get behind the wheel this summer.
The coach will be used on day trips, private hire and tours.
