Chambers Coaches’ second distinctive i6 integral comes with 57 PB seats

Maghera, Northern Ireland-based Chambers Coaches has returned to Irizar UK (01909 500514) for a second i6 integral after 18 months’ fine service from its first example.

The 12.9m coach has 57 PB seats. It is powered by a 370bhp DAF MX-11 engine coupled to a ZF EcoLife automatic gearbox.

While under warranty the two integrals will be serviced by DAF dealer TBF Thompson. Both will be used on a variety of work that includes collecting cruise ship passengers and sports teams visiting Ulster. They will also handle extended tour work.

“We keep our coaches for between eight and 10 years, and it’s important that the oldest ones are the same standard as the newest,” says a representative of the company.
