Coach Miles of Thatcham has received the first of two Mercedes-Benz Tourismo deliveries for 2025, supplied by Daimler Buses UK.

The opening arrival is a 12m example that seats 53 passengers. Drop-down tables and magazine nets are included and the coach is PSVAR compliant, with a lift behind the front axle.

Twin 21.5-inch monitors are part of the specification, as is a centre sunken toilet. The driver benefits from a leather steering wheel and a heated seat, while external periphery lighting is combined with a reversing camera to assist manoeuvring.

Power is from the 7.7-litre OM 936 engine developing 360bhp coupled to an eight-speed Powershift automated manual gearbox. The standard Tourismo safety systems including Active Brake Assist 6, Sideguard Assist, Lane Assist and Traffic Sign Assist are incorporated.

Arrival of the second Tourismo for Coach Miles is scheduled for later in 2025.
