Go-Ahead-owned Damory has taken two new Volvo B11R Plaxton Elites

Dorset-based Damory, owned by the Go-Ahead Group, has upgraded its coach fleet with the addition of two Volvo B11Rs with Elite bodywork, supplied by Plaxton (01909 551166).

“These new 12.6m coaches represent a significant investment of more than £500,000 for us,” says Area Manager Adam Keen.

“The coachwork is British-built, while the proven Volvo chassis offers the latest Euro 6 engine – which is exceptionally green.”

Both include a toilet and a servery, twin monitors connected to a premium entertainment system and what the operator describes as “seat trim that provides an airy yet inviting ambience.”

The new additions will be used on work both locally in Dorset and further afield for a number of different purposes, including on corporate shuttles.
