Dunwood Travel has taken delivery of a Mercedes-Benz Tourismo M/3 tri-axle coach. It is the first new vehicle from the Tourismo stable to be purchased by the Dudley operator.

The new arrival has 53 seats in deep-padded Luxline upholstery along with bag hooks, drop-down tables, and footrests. An entertainment system feeds to twin 21.5-inch monitors and a centre sunken toilet is fitted.

PSVAR compliance has been specified to enable the coach to be utilised across the broad Dunwood Travel work programme. That includes a lift behind the front axle and silver LED destination displays.

The driver’s seat has heating and swivel functionality, while a reversing camera and peripheral exterior lighting is included to assist manoeuvrability.

A host of further safety systems are part of the vehicle, including Active Brake Assist 6, lane departure warning, sideguard assist, and more.

Daimler Buses UK supplied the coach, which is finished in the customer’s distinctive blue livery. That is complemented by highly polished alloy wheels and a cherished 25-plate registration mark.
