The distinctive new Tourismo M is for use on UK and continental tours

Emjay Tours, based in Newark, Nottinghamshire, is another conquest customer for the Mercedes-Benz Tourismo M, having take delivery of a 53-seater supplied by EvoBus (UK) (02476 626000).

It is finished to the operator’s own requirements based on the range-topping Touring Plus specification, and it has a centre toilet along with an uprated kitchen and servery area.

The Luxline seat upholstery includes cream leather inserts and wood-effect grab handles.

Entertainment is via a Bosch system that feeds to dual 19in folding monitors, and it is paired to a front-view camera.

Power is from the OM 470 engine rated at 430bhp coupled to the Powershift 3 automated gearbox, and the coach will be used on a UK and continental touring programme.
