Caledonian Travel has taken delivery of five Mercedes-Benz Tourismo M/2 coaches, supplied by EvoBus (UK). The 13m, two-axle models each have 53 seats and they will be used on the operator’s short stay breaks and excursions programme.
Says Caledonian Travel Managing Director Graham Rogers (pictured, right): “We continue to enjoy a rewarding business relationship with EvoBus – one that spans over a decade.
“Our previous Tourismos have proven themselves as dependable vehicles and our passengers appreciate the comfort that they offer. Choosing Mercedes-Benz once again was an easy decision.”
Adds EvoBus (UK) Sales Director Jonathan Prime (pictured, left): “This order demonstrates optimism in the industry and the travel sector as a whole, which has bounced back stronger than we imagined. Once again the coach industry and our customers prove their resilience. We look forward to the years ahead working with Graham and his team.”
All five of the coaches come with Active Brake Assist 4, lane departure warning and active anti-viral filters in the air-conditioning system.
