Haines Minicoaches of Leatherhead has added an AOS Grand Toro to its fleet, supplied by EVM UK.
The new arrival comes with 35 seats in synthetic leather. Each position has a three-point belt, with aisle-side armrests included as appropriate. PSVAR compliance is specified and space can be made for one wheelchair user. A passenger lift is immediately ahead of the drive axle.
Decorative pleated curtains are fitted along with full-length overhead racks with passenger service units. The Safkar 28.4kW air-conditioning unit vents via those and is complemented by perimeter radiators and a 16kW Webasto coolant pre-heater.
Side windows are double glazed and finished in privacy dark smoke. The driver’s windscreen blind and signalling window are electrically controlled. A multimedia system includes various inputs and a DVD player, while flooring is finished with a wood-effect covering.
Luggage storage is in a large rear boot enabled by the front-engined layout. Further space is within lockers on both sides, while an offside emergency door is provided.
Power in the Haines Minicoaches vehicle is from the Cummins B4.5 engine coupled to an Allison six-speed push-button automatic gearbox.
