Harlawhill Day Centre, based in Prestonpans, has replaced a 14-year-old minibus with an Iveco Daily bodied and supplied by Mellor Coachcraft (01706 860610).
It will be used to take passengers to and from various groups at the centre, and it will carry people of varying ages and abilities.
Says Manager Fiona Mitchell: “The service was at risk of ceasing if our bus was not replaced due to it coming to the end of its life.”
The new minibus has been funded by community fundraising of £75,000 over three years.
