Hodge’s new 41-seat B8R SC5 is complemented by 39-seat used example

Hodge’s Coaches of Sandhurst has taken delivery of a new B8R with 41-seat Sunsundegui SC5 bodywork, supplied by Volvo Bus (02476 210250).

As part of the same deal, it also took a used 39-seat example of the same combination.

Says Director Martin Hodge: “We were looking for coaches with a smaller capacity, greater manoeuvrability and enhanced fuel economy.

“The vehicles we chose needs to service a wide variety of work, which includes transport to central London where tight junctions and narrow, busy roads make access tricky. The B8R SC5 made perfect sense for that kind of work.”
