Jiechuan Tourism and Culture Development has taken delivery of a Mercedes-Benz Sprinter with Avantgarde body, converted and supplied by EVM.
16 seats are fitted, trimmed in synthetic leather and with the Mercedes-Benz three-pointed star within each headrest. Also part of seat specification are three-point belts and folding arm rests to the aisle side.
At the first row are a double- and a single-width table fixed to the partition wall, both with recessed stainless steel cup holders.
Panoramic double-glazed side windows are fitted along with a Masats powered passenger door. A roof mounted Webasto air-conditioning unit forms part of the specification. It ducts via the luggage racks and passenger service units (PSUs) within them.
The PSUs also contain speakers and LED night lights, while each row of seats has USB charging points.
Aiding manoeuvrability is a reversing camera, while the vehicle has Tarabus non-slip flooring, a half-sunken gangway, and LED lights around the raised area beneath the seats. At the rear is a drop boot that is accessed via the OEM hinged doors.
Externally, the minicoach has the EVM chrome pack to complement a front spoiler with daytime running lights and colour coded bumpers, side mouldings, and skirts. Completion is via the EC Whole Vehicle Type Approval mechanism, and a three-year Mercedes-Benz unlimited mileage chassis warranty is part of the package.
