Leons Travel Group has taken delivery of a 10.9m Scania Touring built on the K 360 EB chassis. It has 42 leather seats along with a floor-mounted rear toilet, a DVD player and two monitors, and a drinks machine.
The new coach joins a 30-strong fleet and it comes with a two-year repair and maintenance package. Leons Travel Group Director Andrew Douglas says that when looking for a mid-size addition, the Stafford firm’s priority was sourcing a purpose-built coach, and that when he first saw the 10.9m Scania Touring, “I knew it would be the ideal vehicle for us.”
Mr Douglas adds: “It is a shorter version of the full-size Touring, which gives it a small coach feel rather than a large minibus. The vehicle will be used on all types of work, including some of our holidays.” It is completed by a cherished registration mark.
Scania Retail Sales Manager Lee Wale notes that the mid-size Touring variant, which was introduced to the UK in 2021, has generated “very positive” feedback from customers. “We are delighted to once again work with Leons Travel Group,” he adds.
