Lincolnshire CC’s two Mellor Stratas are working for Sleafordian Coaches

Lincolnshire County Council has taken delivery of two Mercedes-Benz Sprinters with coachbuilt Strata bodywork, supplied by Mellor (01706 860610).

The low-floor minibuses have been deployed with Sleafordian Coaches and they are in use in and around Sleaford, and on a semi-flexible TransportConnect route between the town and Grantham.

Says Fleet Engineer Steve Roberts: “Things can get very busy at the council during various points throughout the year, so having the helpful team at Mellor on hand during the procurement process has been a great benefit.

“What impressed me more than anything is the excellent build quality of Mellor’s vehicles and also its technical expertise.

“We are very happy with the minibuses and we hope that our passengers will be too.”
