Lloyds Coaches, based in Machynlleth, has taken delivery of a Yutong TC9, supplied by Pelican Bus and Coach (01924 227722).
It has 35 full leather seats along with USB and 240v power sockets and the standard TC9 specification that includes kneeling front suspension. Power is from a Cummins ISB6.7 engine rated at 280bhp coupled to a ZF EcoLife gearbox.
The operator says that the TC9 offers it and its clients a large coach feel while retaining a mid-sized vehicle’s characteristics; its value-for-money aspect is also hard to beat, it adds.
