Yutong TC9 for Mayday Travel of Croydon
SHARE

Mayday Travel of Croydon is a further operator to recently take delivery of a Yutong TC9 midi, supplied by Pelican Bus and Coach.

It was supplied ex-factory in white ahead of signwriting being added by Mayday Travel, and with 37 seats trimmed in a half-leather, brown-based scheme.

Among passenger amenities are the standard USB and 240v charging points, a fridge, wood effect flooring, a Bosch entertainment system, and more. The coach is also shod with polished alloy wheels.

Power is from the usual Cummins B6.7 unit developing 320bhp coupled to a ZF EcoLife automatic gearbox. Pelican notes that a rear-engined layout in mid-sized coaches “creates a quiet, relaxing cabin in which customers can travel in comfort.”

In addition to the 37-seat variant of the TC9, Pelican offers the model configured to carry 34 passengers with the addition of a floor-level rear toilet.
