M&D Travel of Stockton-on-Tees took delivery of a Yutong TC9 midicoach towards the end of 2022. It has been supplied by Pelican Bus and Coach and follows good results with a used TC9 purchased earlier in the year.
The new coach is PSVAR compliant. It has a lift ahead of the rear axle and destination displays that utilise white LEDs
Internally, the TC9 for M&D Travel has a black and red scheme. That includes its 37 seats, which are finished in half leather with red headrests, inserts and ‘fleck’ stitching within the moquette. Curtains are in a matching red.
Standard within the TC9 specification are USB charging points and 240v sockets. Power comes from the Cummins ISB6.7 engine developing 320bhp coupled to a ZF EcoLife six-speed automatic gearbox.
