M&D Travel of Stockton-on-Tees is a further operator to add an Irizar i6S Efficient integral to its fleet. Its 12.9m, two-axle example has been supplied by Irizar UK.
The coach seats 53, with each position having a drop-down table and a USB charging point. Three-point belts are fitted, and other amenities include a drinks machine, a centre sunken toilet, and a Bosch Smart Series audio-visual system and Actia DVD player with two monitors.
PSVAR compliance has been specified by the customer, with that coming via fittings that include a Masats lift immediately behind the front axle and Hanover destination displays.
Power is from the DAF MX-11 engine developing 408bhp coupled to a ZF EcoLife automatic gearbox.
