Carvers Coaches of Ellesmere Port has added to its fleet a Mercedes-Benz Tourismo Access, supplied by Daimler Buses UK.

It is a 12m model that is PSVAR compliant, with the Access variant of the Tourismo majoring on that aspect. A lift is fitted immediately behind the front axle and white LED destination displays are included in the specification.

Power is from the 7.7-litre OM 936 engine and the coach carries a cherished registration mark as part of a series used by the Cheshire operator. Polished wheel trims and Carvers’ livery application complete the external effect.

The new coach joins another Tourismo in the Carvers Coaches fleet, and likewise takes its place alongside vehicles from a variety of other manufacturers.
