The three TC9s are for crew shuttle work and are to be used airside

NSL Airport Services has taken delivery of three Yutong TC9 midicoaches, supplied by Pelican Bus and Coach (01927 227722) via Dawsonrentals.

Each has 37 seats along with 240v and USB charging points. They are powered by Cummins’ ISB6.7 engine at the TC9’s new standard rating of 320bhp driving through a ZF EcoLife automatic gearbox.

The trio are used on aircrew transfer work to and from Heathrow, and thus they are equipped for airside use, including the fitment of roof-mounted beacons.

“These are the first TC9s that we have supplied in partnership with Dawsonrentals and we would be delighted to work with any other operator that wished to take advantage of the same supply arrangement,” says Pelican Sales Manager Bob Elliott.
