Poynter’s Coaches of Northampton has taken delivery of a Mercedes-Benz Sprinter with an X-Clusive conversion. It was supplied by EVM and is finished in Tenorite grey.
The minicoach has 16 Sege Trend 410 seats finished in artificial leather and equipped with three-point belts, folding aisle-side armrests, magazine nets, and drop-down tables. USB charging points are present and the driver benefits from a reversing camera with a seven-inch touch screen.
Entry is via a Masats powered door, with an integrated three-stage step behind it. Panoramic double-glazed side windows are fitted, and the OEM windscreen and rear doors are retained. A drop boot is accessed via the latter, with a fold-out flat and stainless-steel protector.
On the roof is a Webasto Moscow air-conditioning unit that vents via passenger service units on the underside of the luggage racks. Saloon speakers and LED night lights are in the same location, and Tarabus non-slip flooring is installed.
Externally, EVM’s body kit and chrome package are fitted to the Poynter’s Coaches vehicle. Power comes from the OM 654 engine driving through a nine-speed 9G-Tronic automatic gearbox.
