Redcar and Cleveland Council has taken delivery of three Mercedes-Benz Sprinters with low-entry Strata bodywork, supplied by Mellor Coachcraft (01706 860610).
They can carry up to 21 passengers each and are wheelchair accessible, while a 360-degree CCTV system and a reversing camera have been specified.
Says Anthony Smith, Fleet Manager: “We are delighted with the new Stratas and are really pleased with the quality of the build.
“The additional advantage of lower running costs is important and it has been a pleasure dealing with the knowledgeable, professional and friendly Mellor team.”
