The 20 new Versas have entered service on Rosso’s flagship service 464

Transdev Blazefield subsidiary Rosso has invested £3m in 20 new high-specification Versas, supplied by Optare (01977 687200).

They come with illuminated 464 logos, denoting the route that they will work, and passengers benefit from wi-fi, USB and wireless charging for mobile devices and skylights in the roof to admit natural light.

Says Transdev Blazefield CEO Alex Hornby: “When Rosso joined the Transdev family at the start of 2018, we promised an investment in brand new buses within our first year.

“Here, we are doing that on the new-look 464, which is a lifeline service in Rossendale.

“Our track record in Lancashire and the North is all about growth and innovation to attract more people to discover the benefits of the bus.”
