New E200 MMC has been purchased prior to Birmingham and Solihill CAZ

West Midlands operator Silverline LandFlight has acted ahead of the proposed Clean Air Zone (CAZ) in Birmingham and Solihull by purchasing an Enviro200 MMC, supplied by Alexander Dennis (01909 551166).

The new bus represents an investment of £175,000, and Director Danny Matthews says it forms part of the operator’s efforts to reduce air pollution and highlight its commitment to growth and innovation.

“We are proud to be expanding our fleet and to be helping make the West Midlands and Birmingham more environmentally-friendly in support of the CAZ.

“Major investment will be required on our side, which we are prepared for and have started putting in place. The proposals offer the industry a good opportunity to improve its image and its customer experience.”
