The two ADL Enviro400 City buses are both to a very high specification

West Sussex operator Southern Transit has taken delivery of two Enviro400 City buses, supplied by Alexander Dennis (01909 551166).

Each has 72 seats, WiFi, USB charging points, stairwell with illuminated glass, and a panoramic glazed roof.

Southern Transit also specified four tables, wood effect flooring, and no seat-to-roof hand poles on the upper deck to create a clear line of vision.

“Part of our modus operandi is that we offer affordable, high-performance buses and coaches alongside a range of historic vehicles, and that approach is endorsed with the introduction of our new Enviro400s,” says Director Neil Bird.

“They represent the next chapter for our business, as we grow and exploit what I am convinced is a niche sector with huge potential.”
