Star Coaches of Batley has continued its strong record of fleet investment with the addition of another Yutong TC9, supplied by Pelican Bus and Coach.

It has succeeded an earlier example of the same model with the business and is finished in the West Yorkshire operator’s standard metallic blue based livery. The midicoach also has highly polished alloy wheels and a cherished registration mark.

Internally the vehicle has USB and 240-volt charging points, a fridge, and wood-effect flooring. Power comes from a Cummins B6.7 engine developing 320bhp coupled to a ZF EcoLife automatic gearbox.

Speaking about the delivery, Pelican UK Coach Sales Manager Simon Collins says: “A big thanks goes out to the family at Star Coaches. It has been a pleasure again to do business. This vehicle will be a great servant for many years to come.”
