Stephen Offord Coaches of Eastbourne is another operator to benefit from the restart of Van Hool deliveries with the arrival of a T16 Astron tri-axle.
It carries Lynns Travel livery and comes with 49 seats that are fitted with lap belts. A centre toilet, boiler, fridge, LCD monitors and tinted double-glazed windows with curtains are part of the specification, along with a camera monitoring system in place of conventional mirrors.
Power is from the DAF MX-13 engine developing 483bhp coupled to an Allison automatic gearbox.
A cherished registration mark and highly polished alloy wheels complete the effect, with the T16 Astron joining a fleet in Stephen Offord Coaches that already has various vehicles from Van Hool within its ranks.
