The Kings Ferry takes a new VDL Futura FDD2

14.1m Futura FDD2 has 77 seats and a 510bhp engine under the bonnet

The Kings Ferry has taken delivery of an eye-catching VDL Futura FDD2 double-decker, supplied by Moseley (PCV) (01909 609000).

The 14.1m coach is fitted out to a high specification. It has 77 Vogel LS20 seats with part-leather trim and additional padding. Each one also has a three-point belt, a drop-down table and a USB charging point.

Ramp access is enabled for a wheelchair user and a space is provided for their use.

Further amenities include a toilet, a drinks facility, Hanover destination display equipment and a Bosch Professional Line entertainment system. Additional luggage space is provided in a ski box.

Power comes from the DAF MX-13 engine rated at 510bhp coupled to a ZF AS-Tronic automated manual gearbox with an Intarder.
