Xelacoach of Eastleigh has added a pair of AOS Grand Toro midicoaches to its fleet, which now numbers 11.
They have been supplied under a long-term operating lease arrangement by Dawsongroup Bus and Coach, with EVM as the vehicle dealership. Each Grand Toro seats 35 and the Hampshire operator says that they have “already proved perfect for small group travel, as well as newly awarded school contracts.”
Xelacoach is part of Xelagroup, and the business expects to further grow its coach fleet in 2024. It will do that via work with various customers, including rail replacement suppliers, private hire groups, and organisers of special events.
Adds Xelagroup Managing Director Gareth Blair: “Since changing our position in the market from a local bus operator to offering group travel, our order books have continued to expand. We want to offer a complete range with a one-stop approach to our customers.”
The Grand Toro is a compact midi. It has a 4.5-litre, four-cylinder Cummins B4.5 engine mounted behind the front axle, coupled to an Allison six-speed automatic gearbox.
