The first ever stage production of the classic 1970s TV comedy Some Mothers Do ‘Ave ‘Em begins its UK tour in February 2018.
The tour will open at the Wyvern Theatre, Swindon on 21 February 2018 and will then visit cities including Portsmouth, Aberdeen, Wolverhampton, Plymouth and Hull. The tour ends in Southend-on-Sea on 30 June 2018.
Joe Pasquale will star as Frank Spencer, Sarah Earnshaw will play Frank’s long-suffering wife Betty, and Susie Blake his disapproving mother-in-law, Mrs Fisher.
The stage adaptation is based on the original TV series by Raymond Allen, which ran from 1973 to 1978.
Joe Pasquale made his theatrical debut in 1999 in Larry Shue’s The Nerd, followed by the touring productions of Rosencrantz And Guildenstern Are Dead, The Producers, The Wizard Of Oz and, more recently, Spamalot, as King Arthur.
